Description

In 92% trench swept condition, we have an extremely rare and seldom seen but very famous pistol from WWI, the Belgian Contract 1903 Colt Pocket Hammerless in .32 auto.  This has the distinct Belgian Army “A in the Diamond” acceptance marking.  This pistol is from the 1916 Shipment and would have been used by Officers of the Belgian Army, but more famously by the Trench Sweepers.  There is a full section devoted to these Pistols in Anthony Vanderlinden’s definitive FN Pistol book.

Most of these pistols are found in deplorable or very reworked condition, so finding one this sharp is a real accomplishment.  If you collect Colts or WWI era pistols this is a very significant find and we are excited to be able to offer it for your consideration.
