Description

In 96% very sharp condition, we have a very attractive example of a blued finish 1941 production Robert Sears Cartouched Colt 1911a1 US Army Service Pistol.  This pistol was shipped to Springfield Armory on  April 30, 1941.  The bore is mint, the pistol is a completely matching textbook example and is 100% factory correct.   These pistols are extremely difficult to obtain because they were not made in the large numbers that were manufactured in Wartime and most were lost in combat or rebuilt post war.  Finding an original example such as this is extremely problematic.  This is an exceptional piece for the serious Colt or US martial pistol collector and the best investment you can make in a collectible firearm are the pre–WWII Blued US Martial Colt 1911a1’s.
