In excellent all matching condition, we have a hard to find late 1942 Production Mauser Borsigwalde made AR42 coded K98k Mauser Service Rifle. This is a scarce and hard to find code, and you may note that even this late in 1942 much of the production at this plant still used flat buttplates which is a noted feature of rifles produced at Borsigwalde. The stock and handguard are internally matching numbered and there are no outside markings on the stock, again textbook for this maker at this time. The bore is mint and the blue is really sharp. This is an extremely nice example of one of the harder code/date combinations to locate and there will be many of you that will want this fine example from Mauser’s Berlin Factory.
