Description

In very decent carried through the entire war condition, we have a fine example of an early production J.P Sauer Made 1936 dated S.147 Coded K98k Mauser Service Rifle.  This is all matching down to the screws and the bore is excellent.  The cartouches and stock markings are very visible as well.  The walnut stock is in great shape with a very warm rich look to it.

J.P. Sauer made 98k’s are extremely popular with collectors due to the reputation the firm has for quality and craftsmanship.  This is a very early 1936 production and they are almost impossible to find as few survived the war to be brought back as trophies and still completely intact such as this example.  This is a really sharp example of an extremely desirable German WW2 rifle and it will not last more than 24 hours so if you want it make a move! Â
