Here is something we seldom see these days, straight out of the woodwork directly from the son, we have the US WWII issued US Navy marked Smith & Wesson Victory model revolver, with the original USN marked BoyT-43 shoulder holster. The revolver is in 98% mint crisp condition, it is all matching including the grips and the holster is mint.
Obtained directly from his son, this revolver was issued to Captain Bruce K Lloyd Jr. He graduated from Annapolis in 1940 and at during the war he flew Catalina Rescue missions in the Pacific. After the war he remained in the Navy, he was a test pilot, later chief test pilot at Pax river, and also was the XO on the USS Franklin Roosevelt, a midway class carrier. He retired from the Navy in 1963 and became a test pilot for Boing. We have a well illustrated history that the son put together.

These days we just rarely get this level of detail on a WWII used firearm and this will be of major interest to most collectors.
