In very good all matching condition we have a very scarce French WWI era Lebel Type Single Shot Training Rifle in .22lr. These are commonly referred to as LaFrancais Rifles. The bore is in excellent condition and the stock bears an elaborate cartouche which is a believe represents the French shooting association. These rifles were used by military academies and schools to instruct students on the basics of marksmanship with military small arms. They are rarely seen in the US and this will be of great interest to any WWI or French Martial collector.
This rifle is an extremely cute looking miniature Lebel Service Rifle, it will look great hanging on a wall and it’s just one of those things that a lot of you will have to have.
