Description
In new in the box condition, we have one of the expensive glamour guns of the 1970’s, The Walther P5 Pistol. This pistol was Walther’s attempt to modernize the P.38 series of pistols to become the new service weapon for the era. It was not commercially successful because it was extremely expensive when compared to offerings by Sig and HK which were just better and more inexpensive designs. It was overly complicated and did not have any real innovations it was just a rehash of an old platform.
James Bond carried it in Octopussy and that’s it big claim to cultural relevance. It is an extremely well made and accurate weapon and if you collect post war Walthers or Bond guns it’s a must have item.
