SOLD VERY RARE, VERY LATE WAR ZERO SERIES CYQ CODE SPREEWERK P.38 PISTOL, “U” MARKED FOR REJECT PARTS, MINT CRISP!

In 98% mint crisp condition, we have a rare and seldom seen very late war Spreewerk manufactured “Zero Series”P.38 Pistol.  These pistols bear a “U”  for UBUNG rejected parts marking and were built for the Volksturm.  Approximately 5000 of these pistols were made and they are considered to be among the rarest and most desirable of the cyq coded P.38 pistols.   This pistol is all matching with a mint bore.   These pistols were made up largely from rejected parts and any leftover parts at the factory in a desperate attempt to get more weapons to the front at he last stages of the war.
