In 97%+ condition, 100% factory original and correct, we have a top example of a fairly early May, 1943 production 2nd Slide Logo Variant Remington Rand 1911a1 Pistol   This pistol was manufactured early in the production run in May, 1943 with the very desirable dulite sandblasted blue finish, which on this gun is a very attractive deep blue gray color.  These early Remington Rands with this finish are highly sought after by collectors and this is a prime example that will make any collector happy. Getting an early Du-lite blue finished pistol this nice is a very hard thing to do, most of these guns went straight into the fight and were used very hard.
