Sold RARE US WWII COLT COMMANDO REVOLVER WITH 2 INCH BARREL, COLT FACTORY LETTER, SHIPPED TO MILITARY INTELLIGENCE, PACIFIC THEATER APRIL,1943, MINT CRISP!

In 98% mint un-issued condition we have a rare and highly sought after 1943 production Colt Commando Revolver with the scarce factory 2 inch barrel.  This comes with a Colt Factory letter which documents the fact that this was shipped on April 16,, 1943 to the  San Francisco Port of Embarkation, Oakland California.  Almost certainly for use by US Army Military intelligence who were issued mostly with these pistols in the Pacific Theater.

2 inch Commandos are scarce and highly sought after by collectors  as you might imagine these easy to conceal revolvers we carried mostly by Military Intelligence and OSS agents.  A very desirable and adventurous firearm of the WWII era.
