In 98% mint crisp condition, we have an extremely rare and for the FN collector a highly significant Immediate Post Nazi Occupation FN High Power Pistol. This pistol was assembled in November of 1944, as you can tell by the special A Prefix serial number. This pistol is all matching and the bore is mint as well.
These newly assembled early post Nazi pistols were sold directly from the FN factory to US Army officers who carried them into Germany as the fighting still raged. I have provided pictures of the FN sales Paperwork in my collection from my own example. As you can see this one from about 50 guns higher in serial number was sold to a US Army Lt. on December 5, 1944. Likely this example would have been sold at around that time as well. This is a very rare example of a Post Nazi occupation gun, made after they fled in September, 1944. The Belgian workers were turning out guns within weeks to help to kill those very Nazis who tormented them during the occupation.
