Description

In 95% combat used original condition, we have a hard to find later 1942 “f” block  production Walther ac42 P.38 Pistol.    This is exactly as it was vet brought back with a vet adorned ewx 1944 coded  soft shell holster.   These late Walther 1942 pistols have a less polished military finish and tooling marks that were not completely polished out.  By this time in 1942  the pressures of war had made the taking of production short cuts a necessity at the Walther Factory and you no longer see matching numbered mags, and waffenamted small parts.  The finish began to be less polished as well. Function was not impacted, and the pistols were still fairly well made well into 1945.  Absolutely a top example of an early war P.38.  The pistol is all matching with an excellent bore as well.

This and other listed items were brought back as war trophies by Silver Star awarded Pvt Joseph Annicchiarico who fought in the 350th infantry Regiment in Italy as part of the 88th division Blue Devils.  This just came straight out of the woodwork, something that just rarely happens these days.  This is virgin swag never before seen!
