In very sharp all matching condition, we have an important documented 1970 Vietnam War Trophy Soviet M91/30 Sniper Rifle. This setup was brought back in 1970. It consists of a matching 1944 dated Izveshk Arsenal M 91/30 Sniper rifle and a 1952 dated Hungarian Communist made PU sniper scope. The capture papers for the scope are with this rifle, the capture papers for the rifle are missing but this is the rifle that was brought back so we are told.
The rifle itself is a non re-worked WWII Soviet Red Army Izveshk Arsenal 1944 dated sniper rifle. It was in service during WWII and was sent to arm the North Vietnamese either the NVA or the Vietcong and was captured during a successful operation. Completely documented sniper rifles from this war are impossible to locate; if you found one very likely it would not still be with any of the papers. This is the genuine bonifide item, no speculation and no doubt.
