In 98% mint crisp condition still with both Factory Original matching number issued magazines, we have a NON-IMPORT Iraqi Army Issued 1976 Soviet Makarov Pistol. This is in un-issued condition and may have come out of an arsenal in Iraq (?) I have no idea how it got hear or how long its been here, it may even have gotten here before desert storm. It came out of a very old Soviet Collection. The most important things about is are it’s NON-IMPORT MARKED and it was IRAQI ISSUED.
Getting a War Trophy from Americas recent War’s is not an easy thing, unlike the good old days of WWII through Vietnam, The Army got ninnyfied about war booty and bringing anything back was a herculean task based upon the regulations. There are a lot of Iraqi collectors out there so this will not hang around for long.
