In 95% all matching condition, we have a very hard to find WWII era French Army Issued Complete Model 1915 “Ruby” Type Pistol, fully rigged out with the correct original very rare WWII issued 1937 pattern Ruby holster and 2 spare magazines. The bore is mint and the whole rig is very attractive. That holster is not an easy thing to get your hands on, few have survived, and they are rarely ever seen. You will note that this pistol has the post WWI era safety modification to the slide wear a round knob was installed in order to prevent the safety catch from engaging while withdrawing the pistol from the holster. When you observe this modification, you for certain have a Ruby Pistol that saw service in both World Wars.
Many Ruby type pistols were still in service with the French Army during the 1940 French Campaign, but few have survived intact such as this artifact. This is a rare and important sidearm from the early days of WWII and one that’s rarely seen this intact; a RARE FIND!
