SOLD VERY CHOICE & PRIME EXAMPLE, GERMAN WWI MAUSER M1896/16 “RED 9” BROOMHANDLE PISTOL, MINT CRISP!

In 98% mint crisp condition we have a Mauser M-1896/16 Red Nine Broomhandle pistol.  This pistol is all matching including the grips and the bore is excellent as well.  One of the cleanest looking examples of a RED 9 that we have seen in some time, this one really pops!

The Mauser Broomhandle pistol is one of the iconic weapons of WWI, they were tactically employed in the same fashion as sub machine guns were in WWII and were an invaluable asset to the Germans in short range combat.  They are one of the most recognized weapons from WWI and are extremely popular among collectors.  This is one of the very rare times when we get a premier example in the office out of a very old collection.
