In 95% condition, all matching to include the original matching numbered shoulder stock,we have an exceptionally rare and almost never seen Star Model A Carbine in 7,63 Mauser. According to the Star records this pistol was shipped out for export in April of 1928. They were designed to compete against the Mauser Stocked Broomhandles and the Astra 400. They were some sales to Chinese Warlords and also to the Middle East and they were popular in Mexico and South American As well. They were also employed in the Spanish Civil War. They were made in semi auto and later versions could also be had as selective fire machine pistols.
This example is all matching with an excellent bore and is one of the few that you will ever see that has a stock; let alone the matching numbered one. These pistols are very rare and actually this is the first one that we have ever had in the office and I get around! This will be a must have item for a number of our clients and we are glad to have gotten it.
