Description

This pistol was actually on the floor of the FN factory in May of 1940 when the Germans seized the plant.  It is an undelivered pre war Dutch Contract FN1922 Pistol with the WaA613 waffenamt acceptance marking and No Dutch acceptance proofs. This is the type B variant with no Dutch Crest. It is absolutely in the correct serial range and is a textbook example.  The caliber is .380 (9m/m Kurz) This rare pistol is described on page 267 of Anthony Vanderlinden’s  MOST EXCELLENT book:  https://www.amazon.com/Browning-Pistols-Shaped-World-History/dp/0970799799/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1501706343&sr=8-1&keywords=anthony+vanderlinden    The WaA613 Waffenamted .380 FN 1922 is one of the most sought after and hardest of the Nazi used pistols to locate.  We have had less than a handful over the years and they are a huge big deal to find, especially this nice.
