Description
In excellent mint crisp condition, we have a top example of a February, 1944 Underwood manufactured M1 Carbine. This is from the 3rd block production run and has typical features of this period such as the low wood stock. This is a nice completely untouched carbine, the LW-U marked Lumb Woodworking) wood is very nice and the cartouche is just stunning. All the blued parts show up well against the parkerized parts as well. This is just a pristine example of one of the more sought after makers. If you are looking for a killer example of a typical flip sight carbine this is a great one to have.
