This is just beyond cute!  We have the most desirable variant of the Italian Fascist Youth carbines, a 1st year production 1931 FNA Brescia Balilla Blank Firing Carbine.  The FNA Balilla Carbine is indistinguishable from a full size Model 1891 Calvary Carbine and is made of the finest materials which make it the most sought after of these diminutive carbines.  The receiver is marked with the crest of the ONB (Opera Nazionale Balilla) The Fascist Boys Youth organization for youths from 6 to 12 years old.  This organization was akin to the Hitler Youth and the boy scouts and these little boys would march around in their little fascist outfits with these cute little guns.  The new book “The Model 1891 Carcano Rifle” by Giovanni Chegia & Alberto Simonelli is a must have to learn more about these little gems.
