In 95-96% condition we have a nice example of a 1930’s production Walther Model 8 Pistol in 6.35mm (.25 auto). This was a vet brought back war trophy, still with the capture papers and a very rare Akah made 1913 Sauer holster that was ruined to fit this pistol. The pistol is all matching with an excellent bore. The Model 8 was a slightly larger sized pistol and it would have been compared to the Mauser 1910 and thought of as a .25 that was a bit more usable than the tiny baby browning genre pistols of the time.
These days, getting anything in that still has the original vet bring back paperwork is significant. Back 30 years ago it was uncommon but you did see it and sometimes it came directly from the vet. Today most of these items are locked up in collections. I doubt that there are too many if any Walther Model 8’s floating around still with the paperwork.
