WED APRIL 26, TOP NOTCH US SPRINGFIELD ARMORY MODEL 1884 TRAPDOOR RIFLE, 1889 DATED WITH MINT ORIGINAL SLING, APPEARS UNFIRED!

In mint crisp arsenal stored un-fired condition, we have a Springfield Armory model 1884 trapdoor rifle that still has the original JT marked sling also in mint condition and alone worth $400.  The rifle is dated 1889 and the case hardening is still quite vibrant.  It looks like it just came out of an arsenal.  This is a prime example of an Indian Wars era Trapdoor Rifle in 45-70 caliber.

We usually do not carry firearms from this era in our catalog, but this beautiful example just came into the office from out of the woodwork and we figured one of our clients would want to own it.
