Description

In 97% very sharp condition, we have a top example of the WWII era European Dutch Army Service Pistol, the 9m/m short FN Browning Model 1922 Pistol that is all matching including the mag, which we rarely see. This pistol is fully rigged out with a Dutch Army Holster and cleaning rod.   In Holland this pistol was known as the Pistool M25 No.2.  Pistol Collectors often refer to it as the “FN Dutch Queen Wilhelmina Pistol” for the” Crown W” stamped on the top of the slide.

The Dutch Variant FN Model 1922 Pistool M25  was the standard issue weapon of the European Dutch Army during WWII and large quantities were surrendered To the Germans and reissued to the Navy and also to the Waffen SS .   This Pistol was certainly a German reissue as the holster was dyed black and the belt loop adjusted to a more vertical hang.
