SOLD GERMAN WWI, WEIMAR/NAZI POLICE, 1918/1920 DANZIG ARSENAL MAUSER KAR 98AZ CARBINE, ALL MATCHING, EXCELLENT EXAMPLE!

In excellent all matching condition, we have a fine example of a 1918 dated Danzig Arsenal Mauser KAR98Az Carbine that has the Weimar era 1920 property stamp. This is all matching down to the screws and the bore is excellent as well.   This is the Classic Weimar Army/Nazi Era German Police Service Rifle, it’s the one you usually see slung on their shoulders in the period photos.  These rifles were used in secondary service by the German Army well into WWII and by the Nazi Police through the entire era.  If you look at old news reels of the 1940 Invasion of France these Kar98AZ carbines can be seen carried by field artillerymen siting on horse drawn gun carriages.
