In 98% mint crisp condition, all matching including the magazine, we have a Nagoya Nambu Type 14 Nambu Pistol. This pistol is dated 12.7 for July, 1937 and is what collectors refer to as the Small Trigger guard Nambu. These early Pre WW2 Type 14 Japanese service pistols were in constant combat in China from the early 1930’s prior to WW2 and saw hard use right through 1945.
It has always been a real challenge to find a small trigger guard Nambu Pistol that still has the factory original matching magazine, you just do not ever see them, so this is a big plus with this pistol. These small trigger guard variants are as avidly collected as Lugers.
