This pistol was on the floor of the FN factory in May of 1940 when the Germans seized the plant. It is a completed but undelivered pre war Dutch Contract FN1922 Pistol with the WaA613 waffenamt acceptance marking and No Dutch acceptance proofs. The caliber is .380 (9m/m Kurz), and it is all matching with an excellent bore. According to Vanderlinden this is described as a “Variation B, Sub Variant A” Which means that is was completed or nearly complete when the Nazis rolled into the factory. What compounds the desirability of this pistol is the very rare clg41 coded and waffenamted brown leather FN 1922 holster and the extra mag.
The Dutch Wilhelmina marked WaA613 Waffenamted .380 FN 1922 is one of the most sought after and hardest of the Nazi used pistols to locate. we have had less than a handful over the years and they are a huge big deal to find, especially this nice and as it was brought back in a very rare early holster.
