In 97% condition, we have a scarce and seldom seen French made under Nazi Occupation Unique “kriegsmodell” Pistol. This is a very early production example and bears the WaA251 waffenamt found on the early production examples. This is all matching and has a mint bore and much more finish than is usually found on these French made pistols.
The Unique Kriegsmodell was perhaps the ultimate modification of the old WWI “Ruby” design, suited to the German taste, with a more ergonomic grip, better sights and an exposed hammer. These pistols are not common; only bout half as many were made compared with the Unique model 17. Certainly one of the most desirable of the Foreign contract Nazi pistols.
