SOLD VIETNAM ERA 1968 PRODUCTION US MILITARY ISSUE SMITH & WESSON MODEL 10, SCARCE ROUND BUTT 4 INCH .38 SPEC. WITH SMITH LETTER TOO!

In been there done that condition we have a US Marked Smith & Wesson Model 10 Revolver.  According to the Smith Letter this was sold to the US Government in 1968.    This is in a scarce round butt 4 inch configuration and it chambered for .38 Special.  These revolvers would have been used by Base Security, the Military Police and in other applications such as arming helicopter aircrew.   Most of these revolvers were surplussed and sold or given as aid to foreign governments.  A rarely seen US martial revolver from the Vietnam era.
