Description

In 96% condition we have a fine example of one of the peripheral pistols of the WW2 Era, a 1942 production Llama Model One  7.65mm Pistol.  This is German Retailer “Geco” marked which stands for the famous firm of Genshow & Co, who were along with Akah, the two largest firearms dealers in Germany at the time.  These pistols were originally intended for the Spanish Guardia Civil and are so marked “GC” in an oval but they were instead sent to Germany to alleviate the shortage of firearms needed to arm Nazi non-military personnel, especially those working in the occupied territories.    If you were a Nazi official or businessman you were a target of the resistance and would potentially be a target for murder and because of this these pistols were needed for self defense.  This is a great pistol for any Axis collector.
