Description

This just came out of the woodwork from rural Virginia and is known to have been a WWI War Trophy.  In 98% mint sharp condition we have a German Army issued DWM 1916 Luger Pistol  and the original 1916 dated holster exactly as it was brought back from the great war as war booty.  The pistol is all matching except for the magazine and it has an excellent mint bore and the grip straps are extremely nice.  The brown holster is 1916 dated and maker marked and is quite nice.  This is a great find, Lugers like this rarely come out of the woodwork these days and this has never been in any collection, it sat on a closet shelf for many decades.  This is a great example of the very iconic German WWI sidearm.
