Description

In 97% condition, we have an extremely scarce German Retailer marked (Geco, Genshow & Co Berlin) 1941 Beretta Model 1935 Pistol.  The pistol has the Italian 1941 commercial acceptance markings as well as the Geco stamp.  The pistol is all matching with a mint bore.  The lanyard loop has been removed, likely done intentionally to make the pistol flatter and more concealable.  Commercial guns like this were sold at Genshow to Nazis who were allowed to own firearms.  Likely this would have been privately purchased by government officials headed to the occupied territories for self protection.

Geco marked pistols are scarce and rarely seen due to the constraints of the war I doubt there was a readily available supply of pistols  that were so marked.  This is definitely an interesting pistol and I wonder who had the chops to carry it and what is was used for.
