Description

In 95% Original very sharp all matching condition and not import marked, we have a scarce and very desirable Imperial Russian Tula Made 1915 Dated M1895 double action Officer’s Model Nagant Revolver.  This is of course not one of those recent Russian Turd imports and we think it may have come here immediately post WWI from an officer who had fled the Bolshevik Hoards.  This revolver is absolutely magnificent looking, still with much of the iridescent fireblue on the small parts and also being totally matching as well.  The bore is excellent as well.

These revolvers are impossible to locate this early and nice, you just never see them.  They don’t exist this nice and I can guarantee you that you could spend decades trying to find the equal of this piece.    This was the handgun of the Czarist Russian Army in WWI and also of the Russian Civil War Era.  They stayed in production and in front line Service until the end of WWII.  Non-import marked examples are not common but do show up, but to get one this early and in this exceptional condition is a highly significant find.  In Russia this revolver has legendary status and to find one in North America this nice is like finding a Sacred Icon of Holy Mother Russia!
