In mint condition, unfired since it was built, we have a high grade custom built Soviet Semi Auto AKM Rifle in 7.62×39, built on a Russian 1968 Izmash parts kit and a New Childers AKM type receiver that duplicates the original Russian Markings. For all intents and purposes this is the closest you can get to a Cold War Era Soviet Kalashnikov Rifle without going the class III route. This is exactly what would have been issued to the Red Army during the height of the Cold War Era.
This is a perfect piece if you want to add to your Cold War Era collection or you decide you want to join the Taliban. While this gun is built with parts from 1968 it’s as recent as lastnight’s news cast. Not a C&R item; must be transferred through a regular dealer.
