Description
In 97% condition, we have a true blast from the past, a 1977 Colt Python Revolver with the standard 6 inch barrel. The most famous and sought after of the Colt “Snake Guns” the Python went into production in 1955, however it did not become a cultural icon until the 1970’s with all of those redneck race car and truck driver movies such as “Smokey and the Bandit”.
Nostalgia over this time period has vaulted the Python and Diamondback pistols to be the most sought after of Colt revelers supplanting even the Six Shooter. The quality was impeccable, and the bluing was legendary, so they certainly deserve the attention of the collecting community.
