This is a very important and rare High Power Pistol to serious FN Collectors. In 97% factory original condition we have a 1946 Danish Contract FN High Power Pistol. This is the complete full rig! Only 1700 of this variant were produced and most were reworked and the few that are in the states came of recently and are import marked. The pistol is all matching with a mint bore as well.
These Danish contract High Powers were the first Post War High Powers assembled at FN out of completely new made parts. This contract was originally made in 1940 but it was not fulfilled till after the war. The Danish Pistols have a Lanyard loop on the left side of the grip and they are Danish Property marked on the left front frame. Certainly one of the most important Post War Contract High Powers to obtain and this is a prime example.
