In 97% mint crisp condition and still with the matching magazine, we have a top example of a later war October, 1944 produced Nagoya Arsenal 2nd Series Type 14 Nambu Pistol. This has the late mid war fine knurled cocking nob and of course is a large triggerguard variant.
While certainly not in the top tier of effective service pistols of WWII , the major drawbacks were a not overly powerful cartridge and magazines that were not easy to extract under any circumstances let alone in the jungle during combat. They are extremely accurate and easy to hit with, a great natural pointing pistol. During the war this was a highly sought after war trophy and they do certainly have a very Luger like appearance that adds to the allure. This is a very clean and great looking example.
