Description

In 96% condition, we have a very scarce and seldom seen Immediate post war 1946 Czech Assembled Spreewerke P.38 Pistol, still with both factory matching mags.  This unusual pistol is made of un-used parts from Spreewerke and an fnh coded WaA76 barrel, plus 2 late “U: marked jvd mags that are numbered to the pistol.  All the parts of this pistol were made in Czechoslovakia.  The pistol has Czech Lion proofs and an East German Shield 25 Proof.  it may have been at one time an East German Army/ Vopo Issued pistol.  It is with a Nazi era soft shell holster, typical of what would have been on hand behind the Iron Curtain.  For any advanced P.38 collector or postwar P.38 collector this would certainly be an extremely desirable pistol and certainly a prime example of a VERY SCARCE post war Czech P.38 Pistol.
