SOLD 1938 42 CODE MAUSER K98k RIFLE……ALL MATCHING WITH SLING……..VERY SHARP EXAMPLE!!!

In excellent condition and all matching , we have a top example of an early production Mauser Oberndorf made 1938 dated  K98k German Army Service Rifle.  This rifle is completely factory original except for an un-numbered replacement code safety and is all matching down to the screws.  The bore is mint and the laminated stock is quite beautiful; the cartouches are all very clear as well.    This is a top example of a Mauser made early pre wartime production 98k with all the early features such as no sight hood and the flat butt plate and milled bands.  This is the poster boy of a 98k rifle in the classic configuration.  Early dated K98k rifles in this pristine condition are rarer than double matched mag Lugers.
