Description

In 98% mint crisp condition , we have a top example of the Legendary Swiss Army Issue SiG P49 Pistol.  The bore is mint and it functions like a Swiss Watch.  It was manufactured in October of 1952 and it is not import marked, nor is it a recent import.  This is a second series P49 and it was retained  by the officer who carried it upon leaving the Service as evidenced by the “P” stamped on the front of the left side if the trigger guard.

The SiG P-210 family tree has its roots with the Charles Petter designed French Model 1935A and it is considered to be the most accurate and finest made 9 m/m handgun that was ever produced, they are legendary.  This is a top example that would make a great collectable item, a sound investment, and a great piece to shoot.

Scotty’s Collector Insight…SiG pistols have an almost legendary status among collector and shooters as one of the finest and most accurate pistols ever made.  Due to a surge in imports over the last few years the demand has flattened and prices have come down, however non-import marked pistols such as this fine example are definitely a cut above what you normally see on the market.
