Description

In 97% very sharp condition, we have a very scarce, and highly sought after Mauser M1914/34 Pistol, with the very early Reichsmarine / Kriegsmarine Eagle/M marked on the front grip strap with one N numbered mag that is only 2 digits off of the serial number being 803 and the pistol property number being 805, obviously misplaced by error by the German Navy end user.  This is a completely orthodox, textbook example is and only one number off of one listed in Jan Still’s Axis Pistols.

Kreigsmarine marked pistols are some of the most seriously collected pistols of the WWII era.  They are associated with the German U Boat Fleet and the High Seas Fleet with legendary ships such as the Graf Spee.  This is exactly a pistol that would have been issued on the early German Naval vessels.  Its very easy to understand the rarity with the Navy being a small service and most of these pistols at the bottom of the Atlantic in Davy Jones Locker.  The early Eagle/M marking is visually stunning and irresistible.
