SOLD – very scarce JAPANESE TOKYO ARSENAL “PAPA” NAMBU PISTOL……FULL RIG……VERY SHARP!!!

In 97% very sharp condition we have a very scarce Tokyo Arsenal Type A Modified Nambu Pistol.  This is refereed to by collectors as the “Papa Nambu”.  This is fully rigged out with the well known Alternative Variant Holster and a spare magazine.  Neither magazine is numbered to the pistol but the rest of the pistol is matching and the bore is excellent condition.  Tokyo Arsenal did not produce as many of these pistols as the main contractor, TG&E and they are much more difficult to locate.  I cannot over-stress the fine condition of this example it is very atypical of the condition of almost all the surviving examples.  These pistols were in constant service for nearly 50 years in a tropical environment and most of them look worse for the wear.  This is one of the nicest examples that we have been able to obtain.  This is a very significant piece.  .
