Description

In very sharp  condition we have a prime example of a Remington 1903A3 Springfield Rifle that was produced in January of 1943.  This is a very sharp condition rifle with the typical mix of blued and parked parts and a leather sling.   The rifle has not been reworked and bears no other inspection stamps other than the ones it left Remington with.  The rifle has the 4 groove barrel and the bore is mint.     The rifle is a top example of the last version of the legendary 1903 Springfield rifle.  These rifles saw much front line action during the war as there were never enough Garands to go around. This is a top example of the last of the US Army bolt action service rifles.
