THE 1936 AND 1937 MANUFACTURED  LUGER PISTOLS ARE CONSIDERED BY COLLECTORS TO BE THE MOST ATTRACTIVE OF THE NAZI ERA LUGERS.  THIS IS THE EARLY HARD TO FIND VARIANT WITH THE STRAWED PARTS. ONLY ABOUT ONE THIRD OF THE LUGERS PRODUCED IN 1937 WERE STRAWED AND RUST BLUED BEFORE THEY SWITCHED OVER TO THE HOT SALT BLUE FINISH. THESE WERE THE LAST OF THE REALLY PRETTY GUNS AND THEY ARE HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER BY COLLECTORS. NEXT TO BLACK WIDOWS WE GET THE MOST REQUESTS FOR THE EARLY STRAWED NAZI LUGERS.
