Here in very fine condition is a Japanese Naval Officers Dirk of the 1883 Pattern; which was the Standard Pattern of the WW2 era. This was one of the most desirable war trophies brought back by our guys who commonly thought that this was a Japanese Hara Kiri Suicide knife which certainly added to the exotic Asiatic allure and desirability. These dirks were carried in place of swords by many officers and they are a highly sought after Japanese WW2 collectible.
