Out of stock
In 96% very sharp condition, we have a quite rare and seldom seen Beretta model 1915/1919 7.65mm pistol that was made in 1926 and still has the original Capture Papers named to Major Charles H. Davis of the 66th Division. The pistol is all matching with a mint bore and very typical of Beretta’s the slide has turned a lovely shade of burt orange. The plum color that you see on so many of the Pre war Beretta’s was caused by the very high nickel content of the steel used on the slides which over time alters the color of the blueing used at the factory.
The Model 1915 /1919 was another development in the lineage of what ultimately became the model 1935 Beretta, Certainly one of the more interesting and desirable Beretta’s, they are highly sought after and this example that has the bring back papers doubly so.
