This is an excellent condition of an October, 1943 production Saginaw Steering Gear made M1 Carbine. This is a rare contractor and they are seldom seen and you just rarely ever seen a carbine in this near pristine condition. The piece is 100% correct and original and came out of a very old advanced collection. Carbines of this rarity and condition are avidly sought after by collectors and investors alike as they take place of pride in any serious collection. This is an outstanding example.
